Description

Key Flavor and Taste Profile: Fresh, sweet, and brisk—the initial taste is clean, sweet, and smooth, free from bitterness or astringency, accompanied by a distinct sensation of salivation and a lingering sweet aftertaste. Mellow and full-bodied—due to the abundant internal compounds (such as tea polyphenols and amino acids) found in the Yunnan large-leaf variety, the liquor has a richer, heavier texture compared to typical small- or medium-leaf white teas, offering a unique, glutinous smoothness. High-toned aroma—characterized primarily by prominent notes of downy buds (*hao xiang*), honey-sweetness, and floral-fruity tones, sometimes accompanied by fresh herbal notes or a distinctive ripe-fruit fragrance. Cooling finish—drinking leaves a lasting, refreshing sensation and a lingering "wild mountain" character in the mouth. Flavor Evolution Across Vintages: New Tea (1–2 years)—fresh and brisk taste with high, sharp sweetness; prominent floral, fruity, and honey aromas; clean and smooth mouthfeel. Mid-aged Tea (3–5 years)—aromas shift from floral-fruity to honey and jujube notes; the liquor becomes mellower and smoother, with a warmer, richer taste that stimulates salivation. Aged White Tea (7 years and older)
