Brewing note

Raw Pu'er has fresh & vibrant flavor. It contains relatively high tannins; people with sensitive stomachs avoid drinking on an empty stomach.

Cold brew

  • Add tea leaves into room-temperature purified water, refrigerate for 4–6 hours.
  • Recommended teas: Wild Black Tea, Fuding White Tea, Raw Pu'er. Ideal for summer.
  • If you do not have a gaiwan, a teapot works. Shorten steeping time accordingly.

Product details

Description

Key sensory characteristics—boldness and "tea energy" (*cha qi*): Upon the first sip, one immediately senses the tea liquor's vigor and intensity; it possesses a powerful, wild character and a commanding presence. Pronounced bitterness yet mild astringency: The bitterness of Lao Banzhang raw tea is intense but "alive," dissipating rapidly, while the astringency is relatively mild and well-balanced. Saliva production and lingering sweetness (*hui gan*): As the bitterness fades, saliva flows quickly; the sweet aftertaste is potent and enduring, leaving the entire mouth feeling sweet and moist for a long time. Full-bodied liquor: The tea liquor is rich, full, and evenly textured, offering substantial weight and structural firmness, along with excellent durability across multiple infusions. Composed and deep aroma.
